Donald R. Hoeppner

Of Wild Rose, age 74, passed away on Friday, August 7, 2015.  He was born in Milwaukee on August 31, 1940 to the late Ernest and Dorothy (Marks) Hoeppner.  When Don lived in Waukesha he worked at Rexnord as a tool maker.  He moved to Wild Rose and was a Realtor/Broker, starting Hoeppner Realty.  He was past president of the Village Board and was a past president of the Wild Rose Lion’s Club.  Don was a Trustee of United Methodist Church in Wild Rose.  He liked attending and helping with auctions and enjoyed hunting. Don will be missed by his Coffee Klutch. 

He will be sadly missed by his wife: Darla; children: Allen and Laurie Hoeppner;  step children: Joseph (Arlene) Jakubowski; Jamie Jakubowski, Jeffrey (Marcia) Jakubowski; Jalaine (Joey) Huerth; Joni (Dennis)  Jakubowski  Peters; Jason (Patti) Jakubowski, Jared (Jessica) Jakubowski; brother: Thomas Hoeppner; sister: Susan Hoeppner, grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Robert.  

Friends and family may gather on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at the Maple Crest Funeral Home of Waupaca from 9 a.m. until the time of the service at 11 a.m.  In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established.
