Hello Barb,
Both Dennis and I "Thank You" for your very kind words. Yes the farm was a very important part of my dad's life and in turn left many fun memories for all of us, especially those vacation visits during the summer!
My dad's memorial was very nice. There were so many hugs from Stiebs cousins, Wanty's from my mom's family and many, many friends. I added a few pics you might enjoy, click the tab that is titled "photo album & scrapbook."

Our most sincere sympathies to you all. I am sorry that we aren't home yet to pay our respect and meet his "other" girls he talked so much about. Lyle was a wonderful neighbor and did so much for me as a beginning quilter. If his garage door was open, I knew I could go pay a visit. May God give you comfort during the difficult days ahead, as you recall the beautiful memories you hold dear. Love Debbie.
