So sad to hear of Jerry's passing. He was a good friend. Even tho we had our differences his main concern was always for the members and staff at the Veterans Home. He will be greatly missed. RIP my friend.

I am Jerome cousin. His father and my mother were brother and sister R.I.P. Many fond memories as kids when we would visit his family on the weekends. So sorry for your loss.

Mike has fond memories growing up with his Uncle Jerome. Trips to the donut shop, piggy back rides, fishing, hunting. Then most important of all, his life decision to join the military. Mike always looked up to Jerome as an inspiration. He will truly be missed. We love you Uncle Jerome!

My prayers are with you all. Jerry was one of my first NCO Mentors when I joined the Army. He was a great man and will be missed.

Thank you and Bill for your thoughts and prayers. You two were special to Jerry. We often reminisce about the unit. He loved it a lot and would have stayed longer if he had a different job.

So sorry for your loss. I am Jerome's 1st cousin (Wally Spoehr's oldest daughter) and have (too few) but very fond memories of Jerome while I was growing up. Most memoriable was how awe struck I was (probably at age 6-7) the first time I saw him in his Military uniform. How distinguished and honorable he looked and was!!! Very saddened to hear of his passing but comforted that he will be welcomed by his dad in heaven. Prayers and thoughts are with you
