Hedy, are you celebrating with Jesus and my Dad? Dad went home to meet Jesus this past Saturday. Thank you for all you did for our family. Watch over our celebration of my Dads life this Friday and Sunday.... don't watch me try to interpret for my sister...... I'm glad she knows my skill level and still asked me to....... spreading love and kindness on this earth.

So sad to hear of Hedy's passing. We had so many interesting and fun experiences in the teaching of interpreters and with the deaf students! Hedy spent a great deal of time expanding our knowledge of ASL from bits of paper. She wrote notes on small pieces of paper and taught us from those. I told her she should write a book using all those notes! She taught me a lot and I'll always remember her knowledge of nuances in sign.

Dear Rev. Dawn Ruthe,

On behalf of Calvary Temple Deaf Fellowship, we want to express our condolences for the passing of your partner Rev. Hedy Miller. We know how much you love each other, it was very obvious whenever you were together.

We had invited Rev. Hedy Miller as our speaker long time ago. She was a very sweet lady and loved the Lord deeply. She was a loyal servant of the Lord. We appreciated her spiritual ministry to our congregation.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you, the family and friends at this time.

May God bless and comfort you and your family.
Pastor Barbara and Emil Easter and Calvary Temple Deaf Fellowship Congregation

What a dear lady. . . . she was a fine example of a life dedicated to the mission God had given her to do. She will always be remembered for the love she gave to others and her faithfulness as pastor.
While swimming at camp my husband had a cramp in his leg and she 'saved his life' as she brought him to shore! We were so blessed to have known her here. However, even more precious is the thought that we will see her again as we rejoice in heaven with deaf souls she won. They will be able to hear her voice there! Awesome day that will be! Love ya Hedy, see you soon!

I first met Hedy when I was serving as Maxine Strobridge's secretary in the Deaf & Blind Division of the Assemblies of God headquarters in Springfield, MO. I had also attended various camps for the deaf and National Deaf Convention. Hedy will be greatly missed by both the deaf and the hearing. But she is now in the presence of her Lord and Savior. She is rejoicing!!!!

45 years of great memories beginning in Beloit, WI. about 1970. It was there we also met the very young Dawn. It has been a privilege to be a fellow missionary to reach people for Christ that are overlooked and marginalized by our general society. Hedy was a great friend and a wonderful hostess entertaining friends at her home. She will be missed as a friend and even more for her ministry. We are thanking God for the many who became ministers through her ministry and can now take her place of influence in the deaf community.
