Yvonne L. (Szinyakovice) Phillips

Of Wild Rose, age 85, passed away on Sunday, August 24, 2025.  She was born in Milwaukee on October 22, 1939 to the late Paul and Leona (Jashinsky) Szinyakovice.  Yvonne was a homemaker who took care of her brother, Brian for seven years, who was diagnosed with MS. She also drove for the Department of Aging for eight years.  Yvonne was active in her church, Wild Rose Baptist Church.

She will be missed by her son: Jason St. James, other relatives and friends.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Phillips in 2021 and her first husband, Walter Bystrzycki in 1981, and her brothers, Brian and Joel.

The Graveside Service will be on Thursday, August 28, 2025 at 1 p.m. at Union Cemetery in Wild Rose on Hwy 22.

I would like to thank all caregivers at Copperleaf North Ridge for their four years of caring for my mom. They gave me such peace of mind.
