Wendy L. (Shonts) Nollenberg
Obituary
Of Ogdensburg, age 68, passed away on Friday, February 24, 2023 at home. She was born in Racine on May 13, 1954 to the late Harold and Bernice (Krueger) Shonts. On August 10, 1973 she married Gene Nollenberg. Wendy was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Waupaca. She was a talented seamstress, working at the Wisconsin Veterans Home, tailoring clothes, as well as altering wedding dresses and making prom and wedding dresses. She knit many layettes for church. She also did in home child care when her children were young. Wendy was involved with 4H for many years.
She will be sadly missed by her husband: Gene; children: Joshua; Nathaniel (Nikki); and Joy; grandchildren: Michael and Austin (Rylee); sister: Terri (Brian) Smith; half-sister: Pam Said; father and mother-in-law: Clyde and Marion Nollenberg, half siblings, other relatives and friends.
The Memorial Service will be on Friday, March 3, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 206 E. Badger Street. The visitation will be on Friday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
