Susan M. (Smith) Dunbar

Of Waupaca, age 87 passed away on Friday, July 25, 2025.  She was born in Waupaca on April 17, 1938 to the late Lyle and Mildred (Jensen) Smith.  Susan enjoyed gardening, sewing and  making stuffed animals for craft stores. She worked for Peterson Realty, which became Coldwell Banker.  She loved any activities with her grandchildren. Susan enjoyed playing cards and Sheepshead at the Senior Center, old cars and attending old car shows.

She will be missed by her son: Michael (Amy) Dunbar; granddaughters: Casey (Brian) Pouh and their son: Koa; and Morgan Dunbar; brothers: David Smith and Larry (Joanne) Smith, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harley, sister-in-law, Diane Smith and brothers, Tom and Denny Smith.

The Funeral Service will be on Thursday, August 7, 2025 at 11 a.m. at the Maple Crest Funeral Home of Waupaca.  The visitation will be on Thursday at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.  Burial will be in Crystal Lake Cemetery.
