Stephen Yankowski Obituary
Stephen Mark Yankowski, 71, of Waupaca, WI passed away unexpectedly in his home on Friday, September 12th, 2025.
Stephen was born May 28th, 1954 in Neenah, Wisconsin to Anthony and Eleanor Yankowski. He graduated from The University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh where he studied Art. For nearly 50 years he was a prominent local artist in the Fox Cities, designing and creating steel sculptures. Stephen enjoyed fishing on his pontoon boat, playing guitar, creating art, and spending time with his dog, Hoover.
Stephen is survived by his children Tonie Borgardt (Christopher) and Alex Yankowski (Angela); his grandchildren Jay, Brady, and Lydia; his sister Aileen (Byron); and brothers Anthony (Cheryl) and Michael (Joanne). He was preceded in death by his parents Anthony and Eleanor Yankowski and sister Donna Basche.
Friends and family are welcome to attend a celebration of life at The Gerold Opera House in Weyauwega, Wisconsin on Friday, September 19th from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
