Robert "Bob" D. Faulkner

Robert "Bob" D. Faulkner, 69, of Weyauwega completed his chores for the final time, as he passed away on October 15, 2021 with his loving family by his side. Bob was born on November 20th, 1951 to Fred and Emma Faulkner of Waukesha. While living in Waukesha, Bob met his best friend Pattie Baseman. After moving to Appleton, Bob and Pattie were united in marriage on May 16th, 1981. In 1996, they relocated with their four children to the small town of Weyauwega, where they built their homestead and Bob discovered his true passion of hobby farming. Bob and Pattie spent 33 years together and separated in 2012 but still remained good friends for their children. For the past 30+ years, Bob spent his summers joyfully working with his family by his side, operating their rental business at the airshow in Oshkosh.

Whether it be supervising work going on around the farm, catching the local rodeo or youth auction, dinner out or simply bouncing back and forth between Judge Judy and the weather Channel....he was simply content with his life, and being surrounded by those who he loved and those who loved him.

Bob is survived by his four children; Ashley (Matt) Hansen of Oakfield, Keisha Faulkner (Rod Kempf) of Manawa, Talia (Brian) Pynenberg of Piney Flats, TN, Carson (Kelsey) Faulkner of Waupaca, and friend Pattie Faulkner of Marquette. Seven grandchildren: Alexus, Spencer, Westin and Liana Hansen, Dominick, Richard and Isaiah “Buddy” Pynenberg; brothers, Earl and David Faulkner and sister, Joan Faulkner and many friends and extended relatives. Bob was preceded in death his parents and two of his sisters, June Roberts and Jane Faulkner.

Visitation will be held Friday October 22nd, 2021, at Maple Crest Funeral Home in Waupaca from 10am until 2pm. Service will follow at 2pm, Pastor Philip Thompson will be officiating. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Weyauwega. In lieu of flowers, the family has established an account to support local youth farmers by purchasing a livestock animal at the Waupaca County Fair in Bob's name. Bob’s family would like to extend our sincerest gratitude to the hard working medical staff at ThedaCare Appleton Medical Center- Intensive Care Unit. Thank you for your kindness and compassionate care, not only for our dad but our family as well during this extremely difficult time. Dad, you fought so hard for us and we are so proud of you. Rest easy big guy, we have it from here.
