Robert H. Rachu

Of Waupaca, age 81, passed away on Monday, July 15, 2024, at home surrounded by family.  He was born in Edgar, WI on January 2, 1943 to the late Edwin and Lydia (Werner) Rachu.  On March 10, 1973 he married Beverly Brester, she preceded him in death on December 7, 2017. Bob was a member of Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church. He was a veteran of the Army.  Bob worked in maintenance for the Waupaca Foundry for many years. 

His family was most important to him and he is survived by his children: Geno (Debbie) Roberts, Floyd “Rob” Roberts, Dennis (Teresa) Roberts, Cindy Anderson-Haydu and Marie Pellerino; brother: Larry (Cindy) Rachu, sisters: June Champagne and Carol Rachu; special niece: Carrie Jo, grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. In addition to his wife and parents he was preceded in death by his daughter, Debra Borst and sister, Jan Lipinski.

The Funeral Service will be on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at 1 p.m. at Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church, 1120 Evans St., Waupaca.  The visitation will be on Tuesday at the church from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral.  Burial will be in the Central Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
