Obituary
Of Waupaca, age 91, passed away on Tuesday,January 10, 2023. He was born in Beaver Dam on March 28, 1931 to the late Robert and Edith (Roller) Rosenmeier. He married Mary Ellen. Robert worked for Kimberly Clark for 30 plus years as a VP of Finance, he was very proud of his military background. He was a Lieutenant in the Army serving in the Korean War. He was an avid duck hunter and trout fisherman. He loved the outdoors, playing cards and spending time with his very good friends John Love, Jim and Mary Hlaban, and Norm Matson.
He will be sadly missed by his son: Lee Meier (grandchildren: Andy (Casie), great grandchildren: Samuel, and Livianna), daughter: Laurie (Dave) Meier, son: Keith Meier, grandson: Brent, stepchildren: Julie (Jeff) Arend, Craig Van Alstine, Brian (Cathy) Van Alstine and Mark (Leslie) Van Alstine, step grandchildren and great grandchildren: Joseph, Erinn Mary, Shannen, Brian James, Addison, River, Aubrey, Seth, Joel, Audra, and Daniel. Brother: Fred (Sue), sisters; Jan (Gene), Barb (Bill) and all his card friends and caregiver Brenda. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by wife, Mary Ellen.
Private services will be held.
