Richard W. Smith

Of Manawa, age 93, passed away on Wednesday, September 29, 2021.  He was born in Chicago, Illinois to the late John and Carolina (Nussbaum) Smith Sr.  Richard was a veteran of the US Marine Corp.  He had been a member of the Moose Lodge.  Richard was a classical music lover.

He will be sadly missed by his wife: Jackie; children: Karen (Gary) Thompson; Barbara Boeing, Melissa Marotti; Karl Smith; 11 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sons-in-law: Joel Boeing and Mario Marotti; and brothers, John Smith Jr and Ernest Smith.

According to Richard’s wishes no services will be held.
