Myron Giese Obituary

Of Waupaca, age 73, passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at home with his family.  He was born on February 11, 1953 to the late Alvin and Agnes( Mathews) Giese.  He attended Bonduel High School.  Myron married Mary Bursack on November 6, 1981. He worked for Wayne Bahr Building for years and then Vinton Construction of Manitowoc Road Construction for 13 years. He then worked for Alliance Industries (Prime Core) for 23 and a half years, retiring in 2018.  Myron enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards, especially Sheepshead and Cribbage. He also enjoyed socializing at Walley World.  He enjoyed being with his grandchildren.  He will be missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife: Mary; daughter: Tara (Daniel) Niemuth; grandchildren: Ayden and Hailey Seward, Aubry, Olivia and Jacob Niemuth; step grandchildren: Josephine, Emily and Annabelle Niemuth; one step great grandchild: JD; sisters: Barbara Kroening, Faye Lynn, brothers-in-law: Jerome Surber, Donald Kroening; nieces, nephews, other friends and relatives. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Larry and Matt Giese, sisters, Jane Surber and Karen Temple, brothers-in-law, Gerald Tempe, Richard Panko and Dexter Porter and nephew, Rusty Kroening.

The Memorial Service will be on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at 11 a.m. at the Maple Crest Funeral Home of Waupaca.  Friends and family may gather at the funeral home on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.  Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers memorials are appreciated.
