Michael J. Gauer

Michael J. Gauer, age 66, of Waupaca, passed away peacefully at home, on Thursday, January 13, 2022.  He was born in Milwaukee on December 13, 1955 to Jean and Dawn (Maynard) Gauer.  On September 22, 1984, he was united in marriage to Dawne Zeman and they were blessed with three children.

Michael worked as a machinist for most of his life.  He enjoyed tinkering in his garage and working on his Harley.  He was an avid collector of knives and guns.  Grilling was his specialty and he would grill just about anything.

He will be sadly missed by his wife, Dawne; daughters, Tanya and Kensley Gauer of Waupaca; a brother, Leonard (Bonnie) Gauer of Muskego; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents and son, Austin.
