Melody K. (Nichols) Rasmussen

Melody K. Rasmussen, age 69, of Waupaca, passed away Thursday, March 13, 2025.  She was born in Oshkosh to the late Kenneth and Arlene Nichols.

Melody accepted the Lord as her savior early on in life. She was a master crafter and designed beautiful wreaths and artificial floral arrangements.  She loved gardening and also enjoyed photographing birds.  Melody was a hostess at Chef Chus for 10+ years.  In her earlier years, she played piano in church.

She will be dearly missed by her siblings: David (Sherry) Nichols of MN, James (Peggy) Nichols of New London, John Nichols of Waupaca, Peter Nichols (special friend, Vicki) of MI and Paul (Wendy) Nichols of New London.  Melody is further survived by many nieces and nephews, and her beloved cats, Mika and Nevy.

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 21, 2025 at Maple Crest Funeral Home.  Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until the time of the service. Burial will take place at Spencer Lake Cemetery immediately following the service.
