Melissa Ann Johnson

Of Weyauwega, age 20, passed away on Friday, November 18, 2022.  She was born on March 8, 2002 to Tim and Jacky Johnson.  Missy graduated from Weyauwega/Fremont High School in 2021. After graduation Melissa met Tolan and moved to Iuka, Mississippi to start a life with him. 

She is survived by her parents, significant other: Tolan and his children: Elizabeth, McKenna, Thomas and Alaura, sister: Jessica (John), kids: Jacob and Elizabeth; brothers: Cory (Rachel), John; his son: Orion;  Anthony; many aunts and uncles; grandmothers: Shirley and Louise; special aunt: Sandy and cousins: Alicia, Tommy and Brandie; special friends: Aystin and Makenzie. She was a ray of sunshine to everyone she met, had a big heart and treated everyone like family.  She was preceded in death by her grandfathers: Rexford Petersen and Robert Johnson, special friend, Amber Ford.

The Memorial Service will be on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at 3 p.m. at the Maple Crest Funeral Home.  Friends and family may gather on Saturday at the funeral home from 1 pm until the time of the service.  Please come to the service dressed casual, as that is what Missy would want.  In lieu of flowers the family is asking for memorials to help toward funeral expenses.
