Of Weyauwega, age 84, passed away on Saturday, December 24, 2022. He was born in Royalton on October 18, 1938 to the late Alfred and Ella (Hersfeldt) Zeinert. On January 25, 1959 he married Joan Much. Marvin was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church. He belonged to White Lake Conservation Club, and the Weyauwega Fire Department for many years. Marvin and Joan enjoyed traveling and camping with friends for 40 years. Marvin worked at the Waupaca Foundry for 33 years.
He will be sadly missed by his wife: Joan; children: Kathy (Tom) Grove, Jeff Zeinert, Susan (Mark) Gaigg; grandchildren: Amanda, Nicole, Clint, Melinda, Samantha and Jessica, great grandchildren; sisters: Sally (special friend Sonny Beyer) Schmitt; Geneva Moericke, Carol (Herb) Lucht; sisters-in-law: Irene and Ann Zeinert; brother-in-law: Dave Hanson, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Kenny (Frances) Zeinert and Eugene Zeinert, sisters, Geraldine Hanson and Elaine Ploetz, brothers-in-law, Marlyn Krueger, Craig LeMacher, Martin Much Jr., Lawrence Vetter and John Moericke.
The Memorial Service will be on Thursday, January 5, 2023 at 11 a.m. at the Maple Crest Funeral Home. The visitation will be on Thursday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Weyauwega at a later date.
