Marilyn A. Longstaff, of the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King, WI, formerly of Milwaukee, WI, age 92, passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2025. She was born on September 22, 1932 to the late Theresa Stark Engstrom. On March 8, 1958 she married Bill Longstaff, whom she met while working at Allen Bradley, and remained happily married until Bill’s death in 2018.
While at Allen Bradley she sang in the traveling chorus. She worked various jobs after leaving Allen Bradley, but didn’t learn to drive until her late 40’s. She then drove a school bus for many years. She enjoyed art, music, and quilting.
She will be sadly missed by her sons: Dan (Cathy) Longstaff and Steve (Tina) Longstaff; grandchildren: Nicole (Ryan) Schwenkner, Eryn (Kevin) Germino, Amy (Nathan) Morrison, Jordan (Lucy) Longstaff and great grandchildren: Felicity, Jonah, Kiera, Fiona, Naomi and Sonya. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Betty and Carol.
The memorial service will be on February 21, 2025 at 1:00 PM in the committal shelter at Central Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in King, WI.
