Kimi Gunji Kernen

Age 97, died July 12, 2022, after a brief battle with cancer.  She was born February 1, 1925, in Tokyo, Japan, and married in 1952 to Frank Kernen, who preceded her in death in 2006.  Kimi is survived by her children: Karen, Kris (Paul) Kenowski, Kendra, Kirk (Susan) Kernen, and Kermit (Holly) Kernen; grandchildren: Erin Boelter, Jason (Marina) Kenowski, Jaime (Juan DeHoyos) Kenowski, Kyle Kenowski; Joshua (Kelly) Kernen, Justin (Nicole) Kernen, Kimi (Brad) Scott; and 10 great grandchildren.

The visitation will be on Friday, July 15, 2022 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the funeral home.  Burial will be at the Central Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in King.
