Kenneth W. Colby

Kenneth Wallace Colby, 73, of Waupaca, WI, went home to be with Jesus Thursday, August 13, 2020 after a long illness. He will be dearly missed by all his family and friends.

Kenneth was born in Kenosha, WI, on October 22nd, 1946, and was the son of the late Wallace Colby and Dorothy Fredrickson. He graduated from Tremper High School in 1964 and continued to receive certification for auctioneering.  Kenneth married Janet Mary Goroski on June 18th, 1988, in Kenosha, WI.

Kenneth was a carpenter and performed maintenance work for hotels, realtors, businesses, and residents of Waupaca and surrounding areas. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and loving every day. He was an avid hunter who maintained his passion hunting with family and friends.

Kenneth is survived by his spouse, Janet, his sister, Susan (Francis) Dunnebacke, and his children: Ken (Chris) Colby, Sara Passarella, Scott (Lisa) Goroski, Jennifer (George) Drivas, and Becky (John) Dudek. Proud grandfather of Kaitey and Hannah Colby, Austin and Isaac Passarella, Alyssa and Daniel Goroski, Kyle and Ryan Drivas, and Kirsten Peterson. Further survived by a niece, Shelbie Degener.

Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents, stepfather (Irving Fredrickson), and nephew (Sean Degener).

The celebration of life will be at 2:00pm, August 20th, at The Lakes (153 County Rd QQ, Waupaca, WI). Pastor Dean Wheeler will be leading the celebration.
