Kelly Ann Wickham

Age 50, transitioned from her physical body on September 21, 2022.  She was born February 12, 1972 in Spokane, Washington to Al and Peg Wickham. She graduated from Waupaca High School in 1991. After graduation she became a CNA and loved helping and working with people.  She worked at Bethany Home and Friendship Manor in Waupaca, and St. Josephs in New London. Her greatest blessings were her two daughters and three grandchildren. She loved spending time with family and friends.  One of her favorite passions was baking and especially making chocolate chip banana bread. Kelly loved hunting, fishing, hiking and camping with her father. Her whole world changed in 2011 when she was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia.

She is survived by her mother: Peg Wickham; sister: Cathy Wickham; two daughters: Tanya (Chris) Mitchell and Madyson Bargenquast; three grandchildren: Oliver, Oakley and Meadow. She is also survived by her Aunts and Uncles: Eileen Wickham, Karen Wickham, Diana Wickham, Judy Buchannan, Roland & Cristi Maier, Ron Oimoen and Jim & Sherry Neidert, plus many cousins.  Her closest friends were Jennifer, Lisa and Lana. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Phil & Irene Neidert, Ray & Anne Hagen, her father, Allen Wickham and Uncles Byron, Virgil and Bill Wickham and Bob Buchanan.

The Funeral Service will be on Sunday, October 2, 2022 at 11 am at the Maple Crest Funeral Home with Vinal Van Benthem officiating. The visitation will be from 10 am until the time of the service at the funeral home.

She fought so hard to stay alive to spend more time with her daughters and grandchildren but God said it was time. Special thank you to the staff at Peabody Manor and UW Madison for the wonderful care she received.
