Keith J. Much

Of Waupaca, age 57, passed away on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at his home.  He was born in Iola on February 24, 1964 to Gene and Jean (Wohlrabe) Much.  Keith was a truck driver for most of his life but would also hold various mechanics jobs, where he expressed his passion for working on vehicles.  Growing up Keith and his siblings operated a hobby shop known as Much’s Speed Shop, in Manawa, where they mostly worked on Mopars from the late 1960’s and early 1970’s.  He was a fan of drag racing, demolition derbies and watching races at Golden Sands Race Track.

He will be sadly missed by his mother: Jean Much, children: Cody Much and Kelsey (Kevin) Contreras; step children: Michael (Mellissa) McClelland, Matthew (Danielle) McClelland; grandchildren: Braiden and Issac Contreras, Sydney, Hailey and Avery McClelland; siblings: Eugene (Julia) Much, Janna (Mike) Bartel, Shannon Much, Janelle (Steve) Behnke, Jeanette (Kevin Wege) Much, Sheldon (Michelle) Much, special friend: Cindi Dunnihoo; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his father, Gene and brother: Faron.

The Funeral Service will be on Friday, August 6, 2021 at 1 p.m. at the Maple Crest Funeral Home.  The visitation will be on Friday at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral.
