Juan Zuniga, III, of Waupaca, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, June 22, 2025. He was born April 27, 1974 in Burnet, TX to Della Hernandez. Juan was a talented mason and owned and operated Wolf River Masonry. He loved boating, fishing, ice fishing and participating in fisherees. He was a phenomenal cook and spoiled Lainey with his fine cuisine. Above all, he loved spending time with his grandson, Bailey.
He will be dearly missed by his girl friend: Lainey; grandson, Bailey Nathan Thomas Montgomery Zuniga; mother, Della Hernandez; brother, Carlos Zuniga; many aunts, uncles and cousins; dear friends, Shane Sopa and Mike Masias, as well as numerous other friends.
Juan was preceded in death by his son, Bailey Zuniga; and brothers, Albert Zuniga and Nathan Hamm.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, June 27, 2025 at the Maple Crest Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 12 p.m. until the time of the service. He will be laid to rest along with his son, Bailey, at Lakeside Cemetery.
His family would like to thank everyone who attended Juan's service, gave them a card or money, they greatly appreciated everything.
