Jerry A. Veirauch

Of Waupaca, age 79, passed away on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at his home.  He was born in Racine on July 5, 1942 to the late Jerry and Alice (Fisa) Veirauch.  Jerry was a proud veteran of the US Navy, he served during The Bay of Pigs.  He was a member of the Redgranite AM Vets.  Jerry was an outdoor enthusiast who loved to hunt, fish, garden and was active with homing pigeons.  He also enjoyed woodworking. 

He will be missed by his son: Paul (Christine) Veirauch of Iron Mountain, MI; daughter: Mary Slattery of Waupaca; grandchildren: Shallin, Julia (Brandon) Bucher; Jamie Slattery; great grandchildren: Tyler, Fiona and Emberly; sister: Cookie (Lyle) Schroeder, other relatives and friends.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Susan, and grandson, Sean.

The Memorial Service will be on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at 1 p.m. with military honors to follow at the Maple Crest Funeral Home. The visitation will be on Thursday at the funeral home from 12 p.m. until the time of the service.
