Harry H. Smith

Of Redgranite, age 58, passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2024.  He was born in Selina, Kansas on December 3, 1965 to the late Olyn and Ruth Ann (Richardson) Smith.  Harry was a veteran, serving in the US Air Force. He was a member of the Amvets Post 13 in Redgranite.  He enjoyed grilling and smoking meat and outdoor activities.  He especially adored and enjoyed spending time with his grandbabies.

He will be sadly missed by his children: Deanna (Christian) Lauersdorf; Timothy (Katelyn) Lauersdorf, Jr.; Benjamin Smith; grandchildren: Elizabeth, Beaux, Tobias, Dean and baby on the way; brothers: Olyn “Fred” (Cherie) Smith II; Robert (Rachel) Smith, Gary (Alyssa) Smith and Vernon (Laurie) Smith; good friend: Gary (Bridgette) Rodencal; the ladies and gentleman of Amvets Post 13; other relatives and many friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Christie Smith, and friend, Donna Rodencal.

The Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, May 25, 2024 from 2 p.m until 7 p.m. at Bird Creek Park in Wautoma in the Campbell Shelter.
