Gary L. Mack

Gary L. Mack, age 81, of Waupaca, passed away Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Green Bay.  He was born in Waupaca on April 7, 1940 to Glen and Doris (Taylor) Mack.  He worked as a heavy-duty equipment operator for Vulcan Materials, from where he eventually retired.  Gary enjoyed building trailers, gardening and tending to his flowers.  He loved family and the time spent with his grandkids.  His coffee group at the Truck Stop will not be the same without him.

Gary’s survivors include five children: Kathy Smith (fiancé Scott Suhs) of Waupaca, LuAnn (Darin) Dessart of Babcock, Sheri Jones of Grafton, Lisa Mack (fiancé Robbert Parge) of MN, and Gary Matthew of Neenah.  He is further survived by a sister, Mary Jane Lang of Hortonville, 10 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were a brother, Ralph Mack; and two grandchildren: Lacey Jones and Billy Johnston.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 25, 2021 at the Maple Crest Funeral Home.  Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.  Burial will be in the Sheridan Cemetery in the Town of Farmington.
