Elaine C. Waldal

Elaine C. Waldal, age 90, of Wild Rose, passed away Saturday, September 12, 2020.  She was born in Appleton, WI on August 4, 1930 to the late Robert and Myrtle (McFaul) Witt.  Elaine retired from the Wild Rose Hospital after many years of working in housekeeping.  She loved family fishing trips up north and lending a hand with the ladies aid at church.  Elaine enjoyed a variety of crafts including ceramics, crocheting, painting, adult coloring books and quilting. She also took pride in teaching her grandchildren her crafts.

Survivors include three children: Bonnie (Jimmy) Claus of MO; Patrick Wilson of TX; and Jeffrey (Melissa) Wilson of Ripon; grandchildren: Todd, Timothy, and Robert Wilson; Tommy and Andrew Wilson; Raven Wilson and Savannah Wilson (Matt Henning); six great-grandchildren; sister, Joan VanHandel of Appleton; and daughter-in-law, Marie Wilson of Waupaca.

Elaine was preceded in death by her husband, Hughes; husband, Oren; and a son, Gary Wilson.

The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, September 18, 2020 at the Maple Crest Funeral Home.  Visitation will be held from 12 p.m. until the time of the service.  Burial will take place in the West Holden Lutheran Cemetery.
