Doris Ann (Ebert) Huffcutt

Doris Ann (Ebert) Huffcutt entered into her eternal home on January 25, 2022.  We can only imagine the celebration that transpired as she arrived and was greeted by the many family members that finished the race before her.

Doris Ann was born on February 20, 1935 to Alvin and Laura (Kapitzke) Ebert in the Town of Royalton in Waupaca County, WI.  On February 8, 1958, Doris married the love of her life, Ivan Huffcutt.  Together they created, raised and loved four children: Richard (LuAnn) Huffcutt, Allen (Eulail) Huffcutt, Patricia (Kurt) Olson and Brenda Fox.

Doris and Ivan will continue on through many grandchildren: Gloria, Jason, Patrick, Kamin, Galen, Deanna, Arissa, Thomas, Sarah, Hannah, Benjamin and Brea.  Doris will also live on through her great-grandchildren: Michael, Evan, Austin, Macy and Gracelyn.

She is survived by her children: Allen, Patty and Brenda; her brother, Marlyn (Lorraine) Ebert; her sisters-in-law: Louise Ebert and Wilma Weeden; as well as her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many special nieces and nephews.

Doris was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Laura; her best friend and husband, Ivan; her son, Richard; her daughter-in-law, LuAnn Reimer; her granddaughter, Eleanor; her brother, Loren Ebert; brothers-in-law: Robert, Kenneth, Dave and Alfred (Florence) Weeden; and her nephew, Steven Weeden.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 29, 2022 at the Maple Crest Funeral Home, with Rev. Erin Coutts officiating.  Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service.  Burial will take place in the spring at Lakeside Cemetery.

In lieu of gifts, Doris would love donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Mayo Clinic.
