Donna R. (Hansel) Jenks

Of Wild Rose, age 90, passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2024. She was born in Wild Rose on November 8, 1933 to the late Oliver and Virginia (Hartsock) Hansel.  On June 15, 1955 she married Eugene Jenks, he preceded her in death on September 4, 1996. Donna was a member of Wild Rose United Methodist Church.  She worked with her husband Eugene at the Wild Rose Creamery for over 25 years.  Donna had been a member of the Wild Rose Skating Club.  She was an avid fan of the Brewers, Bucks and Packers.  She loved Halloween and Christmas. She also enjoyed eating meals with her friends at the Wild Rose Community Senior Center.

She will be missed by her children: Jeanna (John) LaFollette and Randy (Shane) Jenks; brothers-in-law: Calvin, Daniel and Larry Jenks and Allan Manske; sister-in-law: Erna Fredricks; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Ollie Jr.

The Funeral Service will be on Monday, July 22, 2024 at 11 a.m. at the Wild Rose United Methodist Church, 225 Summit Street.  The visitation will be on Monday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral.  Burial will be in the Hill Top Cemetery in Saxeville.  The family would like to thank Rosemore Village for all their kindness and care.
