Donna M Christie

Of Waupaca, age 81, passed away peacefully on November 8, 2025 at Manawa Community Living Center.  She was born in Wild Rose on June 25, 1944 to the late Melvin and Violet (Lovejoy) Christie.

Donna grew up on the family farm where she learned her work ethic from her parents. She worked at Realist for many years, managing the stockroom. After that she came home to farm and milked cows for many years, until she retired. Donna enjoyed hauling hay and talking to her customers. She loved animals, especially her cats, loved shopping and collecting things. She also enjoyed taking trips to Florida, New Orleans and many trips with friends to the state fair. She treasured time with friends and family.

She is survived by her sister: Darlene Christie of Waupaca; brothers: Douglas (Lisa) Christie of Waupaca and Richard (Sherry) Christie of Hancock. She is further survived by her niece, nephews and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother: David, nephew, Scott, uncles, Norman and William.

A special thank you to her friend Patti Langkau for all her visits and care that helped Donna and everyone through this time. Also, to the Manawa Community Living Center staff that were wonderful to Donna and her family.
