Donald D. Berglund

Of Wild Rose, age 85, passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2024 at home with his family.  He was born in Neenah on April 12, 1939 to the late Roy and Irma (Chilson) Berglund.  On June 24, 1961 he married Julene Hansen.  Don was blessed with the entrepreneurial spirit and had many jobs throughout his life.  His most recent job before retirement was as an over the road truck driver. He loved fishing, enjoyed watching westerns, the Packers and the Wild Rose Wildcats. He and Julene enjoyed traveling all over the country and visiting family along the way.  Don’s greatest enjoyment in life was his family.  He loved to be with his children and grandchildren.

He will be missed by his wife: Julene; children: Lorrie (Douglas) Dudei; Greg (Sarah) Berglund, Susie (John) Dorsett, Lynn (Bill) Ringenoldus; grandchildren: Melissa (Sean) Timm; Mandy Czlapinski, Derek (Alicia) Dudei, Brodie (Heather) Berglund, Adam (Amber) Berglund, Johnathan Dorsett, Makenzie (Makayla) Lee and Hunter (Megan) Dorsett; great grandchildren: Leland and Elena Timm, Nicholas and Amelia Czlapinski, Apollo Winford, Ayla and Azalea Dudei, Ben Berglund and Luka Dorsett; brother: Dean (Cheryl) Berglund, other relatives and friends.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Dennis (Susan) Berglund.

The visitation will be on Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at the Saxeville Community Church from 11:30 a.m. until the time of the service at 1 p.m. Burial will be in Union Cemetery in Saxeville. The family would like to thank Compassus Hospice for all their help and care.
