Of Shiocton, Wisconsin, age 75, passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2025. She was born in Marinette, Wisconsin on March 31, 1949 to the late Ray and Marlene Johnston. Dixie cared for and loved people no matter what she was doing. She always stopped and made time for family and friends. She never rushed time with friends; she forgave freely.
She will be sadly missed by her husband: Eric; children: Toby and Shar Marcks, Tina and Preston Lorenz, Tony and Lacey Marcks; grandchildren: Josh, Melanie, Ty, Eden, Carly, Wesley, Bentley, Ayla, Beau, Dominic and Shay. Dixie was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, her favorite scripture revelations 21 : 4 reads, and he God will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more. Neither will warning nor outcry nor pain me anymore. The former things have passed away.
All those who knew her dear friends like Phyllis and Joan as well as hundreds of other friends from congregations in the Fox Valley area all mourn.
