Dawn M (Jensen) Haag

Dawn Haag, 69, of New London, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully at home on September 20, 2025, leaving behind grieving family and friends who will forever remember her as a loving wife, supportive mother, doting grandmother, and caring friend.

Dawn was born in Ixonia, Wisconsin, one of five children to Robert Marion Jensen and Carol Lorraine Dorrler, and grew up in Grafton, Wisconsin.  Dawn devoted her life to her loved ones, raising three children before beginning her work as a chemist and later embracing her role as a grandmother with boundless love and joy. 

She greatly enjoyed faithfully serving her community at Trinity Lutheran Church, tending her bountiful vegetable garden, cheering on the Green Bay Packers, and embracing the tranquility of Northwoods Wisconsin while camping or visiting the family cabin.

Dawn lived a life marked by strength and determination. She was the heart of our family—always there with a warm meal, a kind word, or a story that reminded us of who we are and where we come from.  Even in the face of illness, Dawn remained resilient and full of grace. She met each day with quiet bravery and continued to inspire us with her spirit, wisdom, and unwavering faith.

Dawn leaves behind her family, husband, Sherwood “Woody” Haag, three children, Seth (Ruth) Menominee, Andrew Menominee, and Corinne (Ryan) Court, four grandchildren, Anna, Kendra, Henry and Molly, three siblings, Thomas (Cathy) Jensen, Diane (Steve) Lienhardt, Dana (Bob) Switalski, and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Laurie Ann Jones.

A service to celebrate her life will be held on Friday, October 24, 2025 at 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 709 West Beckert Road, New London, Wisconsin, with visitation at 9 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Dawn’s memory to METAvivor.
