David W. Tank, age 73, of the Wisconsin Veterans Home, passed away Saturday, November 26, 2022. He was born in New London on January 16, 1949, the son of Vernon "Fritz" and Doris (Jende) Tank. He was a Vietnam Army veteran, honorably serving his country from 1969 to 1970.
Survivors include four sisters: Sharon Frye, Audrey (Cliff) Hohn, Barbara Baehman (special friend, Steve Rochon) and Susan Stedman; nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers-in-law: Tom Frye, Jerry Baehman and Neil Stedman.
The memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, December 9, 2022 at the Maple Crest Funeral Home, followed by military honors. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will take place aside his parents in the Little Wolf Cemetery in Manawa.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of the Wisconsin Veterans Home for the wonderful care given to David over the past 23 years.
