David M. Schuelke, age 80, of Wild Rose, passed away Friday, December 8, 2023 at Copperleaf Assisted Living in Schofield. He was born in Neenah on January 10, 1943 to Eldor and Edith (Pues) Schuelke. On August 18, 1972 he married Dianna, and she preceded him in death on November 13, 2022.
David worked in customer service for many years at Stowe Woodward in Neenah, retiring in 1999. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, especially fishing for trout on the Wolf River. He had a love for classic cars and had quite the collection in the past. His other enjoyment was taking trips to Montana.
He will be sadly missed by his children: Troy (Margie) Schuelke of Wausau, John (Shawn) Jepson of Waupaca and Christine (Bill) Karras of Waupaca; grandchildren: Andrew, Coty, Samantha, Elliot, Dwight, Gillian, Lauren and Nicholas; brother, Jim (Gretchen) Schuelke of Menasha; sister, Lola Jean (Ellie) of GA; other relatives and friends.
David was preceded in death by his parents and long-time friend, Morgan Protheroe.
Private family services will be held and he will be laid to rest with Dianna at Hilltop Cemetery in Saxeville.
