Daniel A. Volzka, age 60, of Waupaca, passed away at home on Thursday, February 27, 2025, with his daughter at his side. He was born in Appleton on December 19, 1964 to Donald and Kathleen (Weaver) Volzka.
Dan was a carpenter by trade, with over 40 years of experience, most recently with Strongwood. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and felt closest to God while out in nature. He also loved to spend time boating. Dan had a great sense of humor, leaving $1 in pennies in his will to his most recent ex-wife.
He is survived by daughters, Alicia Volzka, Amber Volzka and Crystal Pagano; his father, Donald Volzka; sisters, Denise and Jennifer; and grandchildren, Seth, Peter, Maxx, Benjamin, Jaxxon and Izabella.
Dan was preceded in death by his mother, Kathleen Weaver; step-mother, Jane Volzka; son, David and sister, Dawn.
A celebration of life is being planned for the summer. The obituary will be updated with the details as soon as they are available.
