Of Neenah, age 55, passed peacefully on July 13, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Wild Rose on May 3, 1969 to the late David Sullivan and Nola (Sherman) Sullivan Sell. Corky graduated from Wild Rose High School. He worked for Waushara Industries for many years. He was involved in Special Olympics while in school. He especially loved to bowl. He enjoyed dancing, watching movies and playing on the computer. He loved his family dearly. His mother was his angel and best friend. We find peace knowing that his mom and dad were waiting for him at the door of heaven. Corky had his own little hop and a skip when he was excited to go somewhere and we have an image of that hop-skip right into the arms of our Lord. His bedroom was full of Elvis Presley pictures and posters but he left plenty of space for pictures of his family. He loved his nieces and nephew dearly. Each one he would say was his favorite. He was blessed to have his “favorite” nephew Jess care for him the last few months of his life. Corky was a people person who loved everyone and was never short on hugs. He could turn any bad day into a good one with just his smile. He gave us his love and taught us how to give love in return.
He will be sadly missed by his siblings: Kelly (Timothy) Gitter and Terry Sullivan; His beloved step father: Jerry Sell; nieces and nephews: Hannah and Jenna Gitter, Cathrine (Ian) Grayskull. Jess Sullivan and Jordynn Sullivan; step sister: Kathy (Allan) Blair, very special caregivers: Laura, Sawyer and Tom Nelsen, many (favorite) aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step brother Michael Sell, several aunts and uncles and his “favorite” cousin Justin Ida.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
