Carol Reinert Obituary

Of New London, age 81, passed away on Monday, May 2, 2022.  She was born in Waupaca County on December 5, 1940 to the late Albert and Leola (Wegener) Fietzer.  On July 12, 1964 she married Vilas Reinert, he preceded her in death on November 9, 2001. Carol enjoyed gardening, her grandchildren, playing cards and shaking dice and her Boston Terriers. 

She will be sadly missed by her children: Lori (Greg) Genske, David (special friend, Elaine) Reinert and Edward (special friend, Luzil) Reinert all of New London; grandchildren: Bret (Kayla) Genske, Kayla (Ryan) Buccholtz, Jonathan Reinert, Zackary Reinert and Hannah Reinert; great grandchildren: Hayden Genske, Owen and Sawyer Buccholtz; sisters-in-law: Carolyn Feitzer, and Marion Reinert; brother-in-law: Ceylon (Sue) Reinert; special friends: Sandy, Joanne and Barb; other relatives and friends.  In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by her brothers, Duane, Lester, Delano and Roger. 

The Funeral Service will be on Monday, May 9, 2022 at 1p.m. at Emanuel Lutheran Church, 200 E. Quincy Street, New London. The visitation will be on Monday at the church from 11:30 a.m. until the time of the service.  Burial will be in Maple Creek Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff at Green Tree Nursing Home.
