Carl Lewallen Jr. Obituary

Carl Howard Junior Lewallen “CJ” age 43, of Wild Rose, WI passed away peacefully into the arms of the Lord on June 22, 2026. CJ was born on January 24, 1983 in Muskegon MI to Carl and Sandra Lewallen. He attended schools in both Michigan and Wild Rose, WI. He attained a technical degree for Gunsmithing and Welding. Growing up, CJ treasured his time on the family farm. He loved being with Dad and Gramps, be it bailing hay, doing chores, riding tractors or simply “throwing” horseshoes under the beautiful Maple and Oak trees in the front yard of the family farm. CJ and his siblings spent many beautiful days at Duck Lake with Mom, and have many treasured memories there as a family. CJ also loved the beaches in Muskegon MI along the sprawling dunes.

An avid outdoorsman, he loved to fish for Trout on the Pine River or any stream he could find, he also loved to hunt for the almighty Buck on the family land. He also was a firearms enthusiast, always in search of the latest and greatest model and fire power. CJ’s proudest and most endearing moments in his life were the birth of his two children, Wyatt and Isla. He loved them more than anything in this world. He loved Isla’s snuggles, she was always her Daddy’s princess. He loved playing catch with Wyatt and teaching him how to throw and catch.

CJ loved gaming online, and there were many times he gamed with his younger brother Allen.  He had a cherished his relationship with all 3 of his siblings, who love him to the ends of the
earth. He never missed an opportunity for sass, and relentlessly teased offering up the “tude” to get a rise if he could. He was also the best brother anyone could ask for, loving, gentle and
always standing behind us kids when we needed him. He gave the best hugs, those are going to be missed more than we can explain.

CJ’s family was always the most important thing to him, his bond with his Mother before she became very ill was one that was unmistakable and beautiful. His strong bond with his father
and mutual love for the family farm and outdoors has created lifelong memories to be cherished forever. Pig roasts for family reunions were a standout for him and you would find him under those trees “throwing shoes”. July 4 th celebrations with his father and siblings became a staple in his life over the past 10+ years, cooking some tasty foods, shooting guns at either his homestead, or his sister’s house and shooting off some fireworks for the littles at the end of the day. There was never a dull moment when the family was together.

Left to mourn and cherish their memories of CJ are his son: Wyatt, daughter: Isla and their incredible mom : Alison Lewallen. His father: Carl SR., his sisters: Shawn (James) Neubauer, Stephanie Wallace (Timmer) and brother: Allen (Marissa) Ackerson. Further survived by 4 beautiful nieces and 6 incredible nephews as well as 6 beautiful great nephews, who will always know how special their Uncle Carl was. Also surviving him are 5 uncles and; 5 Aunts, as well as multiple cousins inside and outside of WI. Last but not least is his precious Husky, Loki who was his cherished companion and will miss his Daddy so much. Preceding him in death are his mother, Sandra, both maternal and paternal grandparents, two uncles, one aunt and an infant niece and infant great  nephew.

Per Carl's wishes, cremation will take place with no funeral services. A private family celebration of life with take place at a later date.
