Betty Ann (Jacobson) Chapman

Betty Ann Chapman, age 91, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Tuesday, February 10, 2026. She was born in Scandinavia on April 3, 1934 to Elvin and Dora (Kanouse) Jacobson. She was united in marriage to Morville E. Chapman. Betty Ann loved to sing, spend time with her children, and enjoyed the beauty of flowers and the cardinals outside.

She will be dearly missed by her children: Charlotte (Scott) Wilcox, Douglas (Ruby) Frohmader, Lawrence Chapman, Melodie (Bob) Logan, Tamara (Jeff) Johnson, Vanessa Contreras, Gaye (Kevin) Conlan, Richard (Kim) Chapman, Constance (Tim) Bunge and Tracie (Ivan) Mast; 25 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren.

Betty Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Morville; sisters, Alta Fischer and June Rademacher; and brother, Charles Jacobson.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at the Maple Crest Funeral Home, with Pastor Dale Wilson officiating. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will take place at 11 a.m. Thursday, February 19, 2026 at Evergreen Cemetery in Fort Atkinson, WI.
