Bailey J. Zuniga

Bailey J. Zuniga, age 25, of Waupaca, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, December 22, 2022 in Ashland.  He was born in Waupaca on November 29, 1997 to Juan Zuniga, III and Julie Phillips.

Fishing and making music were a couple of his hobbies.  He loved sports - mainly basketball and football - and was a huge fan of Kobe Bryant and the Vikings.  He also enjoyed attending sporting events and gaming.

Bailey was a really sweet kid and will be sadly missed by: his father, Juan Zuniga, III of Waupaca and mother, Julie Phillips (Ryan) of Ashland; girlfriend, Maya Montgomery of Bayfield; son, Ryland; sisters, Harley and Mya; uncle, Carlos Zuniga; paternal grandmother, Della; paternal grandfather, James; and maternal grandmother, Mary.

He was preceded in death by his uncles, Albert Zuniga and Nathan Hamm.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 3, 2022 at the Maple Crest Funeral Home.  Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until the time of the service.
