Anthony Maglior Obituary

Of Waupaca, age 91, passed away on Friday, January 29, 2021. Tony was born in Weirton, WV on June 20, 1929 to the late Nicholas and Mary (Sacco) Maglior. In 1952 he married the only love of his life Joyce Marie Hicks. She preceded him in death in 2011.

Tony was a proud veteran, serving in the Air Force during the Korean War. He will be remembered for his strength of character, his love for his family and friends and his ability to light up a room with his smile . He and Joyce devoted themselves to raising their six boys; beginning in 1953 and continuing throughout their lives. Tony was a self-made man who worked hard to make a living but still found time to prioritize his family.

He is survived by his sons: Mark, Jeff, Chris (Chris Marie), Steve (Stacey) and Mike (Jamie) Maglior; sister, Jacque Urso; daughter-in-law, Liz Maglior; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren. In addition, he was preceded in death by his son Daniel (Liz) Maglior. A Celebration of Tony’s life will be held in Summer 2021.
