Of Waupaca, age 80, passed away on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at Bethany Home. She was born in the Town of Lind, Waupaca County, on July 26, 1941 to the late Glen and Mae (Jacklin) Sosinske. Ann graduated from Waupaca High School in 1959. She graduated from UW Oshkosh in 1963 and then graduated from UW Madison with a master’s degree in Library Science on June 8, 1964. Ann was a librarian at UW Oshkosh for 37 years, retiring in 2001. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and attended Farmington Lutheran Church, as well as an AAUW Member, Genealogical Society of Waupaca and WAGS. She volunteered at church libraries and loved reading. Books were such an important part of her life.
She will be missed by her sisters: Peggy (Dick) Morey and Sue Rohloff both of Waupaca; brother: Dennis (Sherri) Sosinske of New Berlin; nieces: Christine Morey and Holly (Eric) Johnson; nephew: Pete (finacee, Erin Schuelke) Rohloff; great nieces: Brooklyn (fiancé, Jake Moeller) Rohloff, Lydia and Janie Johnson; uncle: Wesley Sosinske; other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her great nephew, Quinten Rohloff, a special aunt, Margaret Sosinske, other aunts and uncles and special friend, Delores Wassmann.
The Funeral Service will be on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 12 p.m. at the Maple Crest Funeral Home. The visitation will be on Saturday at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established. Burial will be in in Lind Center Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff of Bethany Home for all the care they gave Ann.
