Harold J. Troen

Of Wautoma, age 94, passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2020 at home.  He was born in Black River Falls, WI on August 8, 1925 to the late Adolph and Clara (Nelson) Troen.  In 1992 he married his best friend Roni Kister.  Harold worked for many years at the Racine and then Wild Rose School Districts as a custodian.  He enjoyed bowling, camping with friends, hunting and the outdoors.  He had a small farm and enjoyed taking care of his horses and llamas.

He will be very sadly missed by his wife: Roni; children: Jean (Dennis) Belingheri and Scott Kister and other children; grandchildren: Scott Smerda and Anne Smerda Hanson, 2 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild; nieces: Julie (Jim) Vonswol and their son, Jeff; Shelly Trucke, many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 2 brothers, 3 sisters and a nephew, Jeff.

The Memorial Service will be on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 11 a.m. at Mt. Morris Holden Lutheran Church, N3388 State Road 152.  The visitation will be on Saturday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service.  In lieu of flowers memorials are appreciated for the family.
