Dennis F. Buckholt

Dennis F. Buckholt, age 59, of Waupaca, passed away at home, Thursday, March 16, 2017, surrounded by family.  He was born in Waupaca on June 11, 1957 to Gerald and Lyla (Harris) Buckholt, Sr.  On May 20, 1978 he was united in marriage to Julie McGowan at Royalton Christian Church.

                He is survived by his wife, Julie; children: Theresa (Eric) Heineman of Manawa and Daniel (Debra) Buckholt of Waupaca; mother, Lyla Buckholt of Weyauwega; grandchildren: Nicole Buckholt, Kenzie Heineman and Austin Buckholt; brother, Gerald Buckholt, Jr. of Fond du Lac; sister, Barb  (Mike) Balthazor of Northport; other relatives and many friends.  He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald, mother-in-law, Margelene McGowan and father-in-law, Robert McGowan.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at 3 p.m. at the Waupaca Town Hall.  Friends and family may gather from 1 p.m. until the time of the service.  The Maple Crest Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements.
