Carol E. (Tolonen) Tahtinen

Of Baraga, MI, age 75, passed away on Friday, August 16, 2019.  She was born in Hancock, Michigan on April 26, 1944 to the late Andrew and Sylvia (Johnson) Tolonen.

Carol will be sadly missed by her daughter: Amanda (T. Michael) Schoneman; sisters: Evelyn McGowen; Jean Hanik; Linda (Larry) Jones; Cindy (Frank) Moreno; brother: Walter (Patricia) Tolonen; grandchildren: Amber, Ulvonta, Sydney and Nikolaus; great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her son, Michael R. Whitty, sister, Dolores Callahan, and brothers, Charlie, Hubert and Donald.

The Funeral Service will be on Friday, August 23, 2019 at 12 p.m. at the Maple Crest Funeral Home.  The visitation will be on Friday at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established.
