Ann Elizabeth "Liz" (Abrahamson) Minton

Of Waupaca, age 91, passed away on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at House of the Dove in Marshfield.  She was born in the Town of Lind on June 12, 1926 to the late Edward and Gertrude (Gabrielson) Abrahamson.  On April 10, 1948 she married Everett “Bill” Minton; he preceded her in death on August 13, 2007.  Liz was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

She will be sadly missed by her children: Gloria (Clayton) Luedke of Ogdensburg; Gerald (friend, Sue) Minton of Bancroft; Ronald (Lynne) Minton of Waupaca; Norman (friend, Sharon) Minton of Waupaca; Betty (David) Minton-Heron of Unity; brothers: Gaylord (Elaine) Abrahamson and Allen (Lynn) Abrahamson both of Waupaca; grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.  In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by an infant son, David, a grandson, Christopher Minton, granddaughter, Susie Blevins, three brothers and one sister.

The Funeral Service will be on Monday, July 17, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church 206 E. Badger St., Waupaca.  The visitation will be on Sunday at the Maple Crest Funeral Home from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. and again on Monday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.  Burial will be in the Barton Cemetery.  The family would like to thank the Colby Retirement Community in Colby and House of the Dove in Marshfield for their care of mom.
