Zoey Rae Kintigh

               Zoey Rae Kintigh was born May 10, 2016, with congenital heart disease and several other health conditions.  She was a fighter with a one-of-a-kind anatomy, surpassing all expectations until her little body could no longer endure.  She passed away at the age of 36 days, in the loving embrace of her mother’s arms, on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at Children’s Hospital in Milwaukee, WI.

               She was and will always be loved dearly and missed by all.  Zoey is survived by her parents, Tom and Ali (Abraham) Kintigh of Wautoma; grandparents: Susan King (fiancé, Howie Evans), Deb and Terry Washburn, Dan and Kay Kintigh; great-grandparents: Tom Kintigh, Marge King, David and Kelly Abraham; aunt, uncle and Godparents: Jamie and Chad VandenBoomen; other aunts and uncles: Dan Abraham, Lisa and Jordan Schmidt, Matt Abraham, Molly and Ben Nyman, Angela and Mark Huang, DJ Kintigh, Jennifer Washburn and Stephanie Washburn; and numerous cousins.

               Zoey was preceded in death by: Papa Robert Abraham; great-grandpa Robert King; great-grandma Nancy Abraham; great-grandma Marilyn Kintigh, great-grandma Alice Hunt; and two cousins: Jameson Abraham and Faith VandenBoomen.

               Everyone is welcome to celebrate the life of Zoey on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at the Maple Crest Funeral Home.  Visitation will begin at 12 p.m. followed by a service at 2 p.m.  Pastor Carl Ferguson will officiate.  She will be laid to rest near her Papa Robert Abraham in the East Bloomfield Cemetery.

               The family sends their heartfelt thanks to the staff of Cardiac ICU at Children’s Hospital as well as her online and local community for all of their support.
