Walter F. Deuber

Of Scandinavia, age 83, passed away on Thursday, July 7, 2016 at home.  He was born in Waupaca on March 4, 1933 to the late Fritz and Rose (Helinski) Deuber.  Walter was a farmer in the Waupaca area. He enjoyed traveling, tractor pulls and shows. 

He will be sadly missed by his companion of over 50 years: Marjorie; children: Beth (Larry) Somers of Iola; Todd Cartright of Scandinavia; Cora Deuber of Mosinee; sister: Rose (Lee) Carlson of Peru, IN; brother: Fred Deuber of Waupaca; in-laws: Joseph Stocker of Campbellsport; Thomas (Wendy) Vaughan of Waupaca; Patsy Vaughan of Ripley, TN; 7 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Elaine Stocker, nephews, Walter and Rick Stocker, in-laws, Hugh and John (Sharon) Vaughan.

The Funeral Service will be on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the Maple Crest Funeral Home of Waupaca.  The visitation will be on Tuesday at the funeral home from 4 until 7 p.m. and again on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.  Burial will be in Lind Center Cemetery.
