Valgene A. (Winterfeldt) Zuberbier

Beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Valgene A. Zuberbier age 83 was called home by Jesus and entered heaven on March 12, 2018. 

She was born on January 26, 1935, in the Town of Ellington, and born to Arthur and Zelaya (Ross) Winterfeldt.  On September 24, 1953, she married Hilbert Zuberbier at Bethlehem Ev. Lutheran Church in Hortonville, WI.  Valgene was a faithful member and volunteer of Bethlehem. 

Valgene enjoyed spending time with her family and playing cards.

Survivors include her children: Janet (Paul) Meyer-Hortonville, Tom (Bonnie) Zuberbier-Appleton, Diane (Russell) Sweet-Weyauwega, Steven (Cindy) Zuberbier- Hortonville:  grandchildren: Nathaniel (Melissa) Meyer, David (Ashley) Zuberbier, Amanda Sweet, Alicia (Dustin) Schmitt, Casey Zuberbier, Stephanie Meyer, Brandon Sweet:  great grandchildren: Jackson, Landon, Coulson Meyer and Bentley Zuberbier: sisters: Deloris Schmidt & Marion Reinert, and brother-in-law: Gordon Zeinert: In-laws Nancy (Jerry) Behm, Lee (Carol) Zuberbier, Bob (Anita) Zuberbier,  nieces and nephews.

Valgene was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, brother, Russell Winterfeldt,  a sister Carrie Zeinert, and in-laws Hugo &  Anita (Dorschner)Zuberbier.

Family members will be receiving friends of Valgene on Sunday,  March 18 from 2:00 – 4:00 at Bethlehem Ev. Lutheran Church-old church- located at 203 N. Nash Street, Hortonville, WI.  The celebration of Eternal Life in Heaven will follow at 4:00 PM with Reverend Joel Jenswold officiating.   Handicap parking and a wheelchair ramp may be found on the backside of the church. 

Burial will be at Hortonville Union Cemetery.

 In lieu of flowers memorials may be made out to Bethlehem Ev. Lutheran Church General Fund.
